Vintage 1950's Grais Genuine Front Quarter Horsehide Bomber Style Leather Jacket M

$122.50 $175.00

Amazing and rare vintage Grais horsehide leather bomber style jacket.

Rubin Grais, a Russian Jew, emigrated to Chicago and utilized his skills as a shoemaker to become one of the most iconic leather makers of the 1940's and 1950's. Grais (Sportswear with Grace!) created every type of jacket imaginable and this key bomber/flight jacket example perfectly personifies the era. CONMAR Zipper.

The leather is in good condition - showing wonderful age. All scuffed and beautiful. There is damage to the wool cuffs from wear as shown in photos. Satin lining has damage at collar as shown. This Grais jacket is a true collectors piece from a time when the leather jacket really became king. Very good condition for its age.

Measurements, taken when laid flat in inches - CHECK THESE CAREFULLY. We do not offer returns if it doesn't fit.

Pit to Pit: 18.5"
Shoulder to Shoulder: 17"
Sleeve length: 23"
Collar to hem: 25"

This jacket has many years of life left as a wearer or would look absolutely killer in your vintage collection.
